I love to talk with small groups about how to move on from dieting, form a positive relationship with food and improve health and wellbeing. During workshops I draw on evidence based approaches and techniques including the non-diet approach, Health At Every Size (R), mindful eating and intuitive eating. If you are interested in holding a workshop for your small group, I'd love to hear from you! Get in touch to learn more.
'Let Yourself Be' is an 8 week group program designed to help you to improve your health (without dieting!) and work towards accepting your body exactly as you are. You will be supported by both myself and your fellow group members.
No groups are running at the moment, however if you express your interest now you will be first in line for the next round.
‘Eating with Ease’ offers an introduction to how you can ditch the guilt, dieting and deprivation to find balance with your eating. Melissa from Body Confident Nutrition will guide you through the non-diet approach, an evidence based paradigm which can help you to improve your health whilst supporting a more peaceful relationship with food and your body.
Ditch Dieting Workshop at Absolute Yoga and Pilates
Join Melissa for an introductory workshop about how you can move on from dieting, heal your relationship to food and feel good in your body exactly as you are (no weight loss required!).
Melissa will guide you through: * Why diets don’t work (and what to do instead!) * The non-diet approach * Mindful eating * Body acceptance
This workshop also offers a great opportunity to connect with others with similar experiences to yours. You are not alone if you’ve struggled to accept your body or trust yourself around food!
Spaces are limited to allow for plenty of time for questions, discussion and connection.
As well as plenty of new information and discussion, you will also receive worksheets to get you started on your journey to body acceptance and intuitive eating into the future.
This workshop compliments Absolute Yoga's 'Body Love Yoga' and 'Yoga for Bigger Bodies' classes very well, however participation in either is not required to attend.
