About Melissa

Hi there, I'm Melissa (she/her)

I'm an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) based in Ballarat, and I love supporting women and gender diverse adults to form a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies, exactly as they are.

Whether you're still a little unsure or if you're super keen to get started, I'm here to support you in learning to trust your body and move on from feeling overwhelmed about eating -
because I know that your have so much more to offer the world than spending a lifetime trying to make yourself smaller.

How it works

Get in touch
You are welcome to book your first online appointment, or get in touch to ask any questions you may have to see if I might be the right dietitian for you.
Your first appointment
This time together is an opportunity for us to start to explore how you are feeling about food and your body.  We will explore your current eating patterns, your past experiences with food and your body, as well as any relevant medical history.  We might get through this information in the first session or it might take a few, depending on how our conversation goes.  We can take our time, and there will be no rush.
Ongoing support
In our follow up sessions together we will start to explore your relationship with food and your body further, and gently start to experiment with strategies to support you in working towards feeling better as you feel ready to.  Anything we discuss or experiment with will be at your pace.
